<i>I absolutely love thrift stores. </i>

I had a little extra cash and time today, so I decided to go "hunting" for some items on our needs list. Goodwill was having an all clothes for $1 sale (unless the item was already marked below that) so I managed for under 20 bucks to purchase for my brood: A boys, Gap, black leather jacket, 1 pr of Osh Kosh Overalls, 2 prs Osh Kosh pants (tags still attached), 4 prs of Buster Brown shoes, 2 CK boys sweatshirts, 1 Gap dress and a pair of shoes for myself. Not bad eh?

I'm incredibly tired today though. John and I sat up late watching a movie and not long after I fell asleep a round of thunderstorms came through and woke me up. *sigh* A pregnant woman just doesn't function well on less than 5 hrs of rest. I plan on putting the kids down around 8 and crashing out shortly thereafter so I'm hoping that I will have recovered in the morning. :)

So, yes, I have been missing for quite some time and without divulging information I'm just not comfortable sharing on the internet, I really can't share why. For that I apologize.

To bring everyone up to date. We purchased and moved in our dream house (cottage!?!) in mid-July. The following week we found out that we are expecting a new family member in mid-April. We're very excited, but the change has been stressful for all of us.

Homeschooling is going quite well this year. Jas is much more interested in the work and is "getting" things with little trouble. I've also started some K-5 type stuff with Beth and she is breezing through it. She thinks it's fun. Ha!

I've been babysitting full time (but only temporarily!) as well as continuing the editing work I've been doing. Calgon take me away!

A load of clean laundry is waiting to be folded..
